Wilderness in Focus was founded through a passion for photography and the wild outdoors. Being avid outdoor enthusiasts/photographers for close to twenty years, we have come to specialize in landscape and wildlife photography, concentrating on western North America. As residents of Southern California, we have grown to appreciate vast, untrammeled landscapes, such as Anza-Borrego Desert State Park. From these modest beginnings, we have traveled throughout much of western North America in search of the images you find on this web site. From the magnificent rocky mountains, to the majestic coastal redwoods, the images brought to you today are nothing short of a miracle of nature captured on film.
